Charity Christmas Tree Competition

In 2016 we created our Viaduct House Christmas Tree out of law books.

We received a great response on social media and it got us thinking…

We are challenging local businesses and organisations to design and build their own tree out of materials relating to their business.

With the help of Carlisle Ambassadors we have launched the competition in September 2017 to give you plenty of time to get thinking about Christmas Trees. The competition is open to everyone including schools, colleges, shops, local businesses and sports clubs.

A couple of examples are:

  • A baker could make a tree out of bread rolls
  • A builder’s tree could be made of bricks
  • A gardener could build a tree out of spades and plant pots
  • A school could make one out of textbooks

The competition is to raise money for Cumbria Wheelchair Sports Club. A charity that Cartmell Shepherd are proud to support and sponsors the Boccia League.

For the rules and further information on the competition please download an information pack here.

The deadline for registering for the competition is the 29th November 2017. Photo entries must be received by the 6th December to be uploaded for Social Media voting.

Good luck and we are looking forward to seeing all of the entries.

From our first meeting we were made to feel welcome and valued customers. We were not made to feel intimidated at all.
