Job Description – Family Solicitor

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will have a proven track record of dealing with a mixture of privately-paying financial remedy and Children Act proceedings. They will be able to manage a varied workload efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively while showing strong attention to detail and an ability to work effectively under pressure.  Ideally they will be a Resolution Accredited Specialist.

The successful candidate will be working within a departmental structure alongside friendly and supportive colleagues and with an excellent highly trained support team, servicing clients across Cumbria and Northumberland.

Whilst the position is based primarily in Carlisle, we operate using technology and case management systems that would allow the successful applicant to effectively work from home and so applications for flexible or hybrid working would be considered in addition.

Our offices offer a warm welcome to clients and staff in modern office spaces with a traditional twist with ample meeting space at our locations.

Pay and staff benefits

We’re committed to taking care of our staff.  Providing a competitive and varied reward package is just one of the ways we do that.

Salary will be £40,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
