Based in our Penrith office Mike is Head of the Commercial Property team.  He specialises in the sale and purchase of all types of commercial property, including commercial leases (for both Landlord and Tenant), businesses, and development land. Mike also advises on the setting up of both residential and commercial estates for subsequent sale.

About Mike

Born and brought up in Cumbria, Mike graduated with Honours from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and has been a solicitor for over 30 years. Mike joined Cartmells in 2014.

Away from work Mike enjoys cycling and walking the Fells. He completed all the Wainwright Fells some time ago. He somehow finds time to play drums with a rock band and is also an ECB qualified cricket coach and umpire.
