Sam has worked with Cartmell Shepherd for over 26 years.

She joined the company in 1992 and prior to working in the Residential Conveyancing department Sam worked as an office junior and then a legal secretary, working for various departments including commercial property and secretary to the Managing Partner. It was this role that led to Sam training to become a conveyancer; a position she has successfully held for over 20 years.

As an experienced residential conveyancer Sam has extensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and residential property matters, handling a broad range of transactions including sales and purchases of residential properties, registered and unregistered property, sales and purchases of new-builds including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, re-mortgages, transfer of property and buy to let.

Property transactions can be stressful but with Sam’s knowledge and expertise she will oversee all of the necessary legal requirements, guiding you through the whole process to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible, provide regular updates and explaining the legal jargon in a manner you will understand.

Sam is approachable, helpful and friendly whilst maintaining exceptional levels of service.

In her spare time Sam enjoys fell walking and listening to live music, she is a member at Carlisle Cricket Club where she helped out for many years.
