About Ian

Ian joined Cartmell Shepherd’s commercial property team in October 2016 having previously been in practice with other firms in Cumbria and before that, the Thames Valley. Ian studied for the Common Professional Examination at the University of Northumbria and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.

Ian represents buyers and sellers of freehold commercial properties; landlords and tenants of commercial leasehold properties, and for landowners and operators of mobile phone masts. He also acts on residential sales and purchases across England and Wales.

Having returned to his native Cumbria, Ian joined Cartmell Shepherd in 2016, having previously been in practice in other firms in Cumbria and in the Thames Valley.
