Stephanie deals with all types of civil disputes, in particular commercial tenancy matters (including business lease renewals) and disputes involving property and land (including boundary and right of way/easement disputes) together with general contractual disputes (including construction claims), negligence claims, partnership disputes and agricultural litigation.
Stephanie is experienced in every aspect of property disputes.
She specialises in care law advising elderly and incapacitated adults who have problems with care provision and the funding of care, including challenging decisions on the entitlement to NHS funded Continuing Health Care. Stephanie also acts as advocate for clients with mental health and medical and social care needs.
Stephanie graduated with a BA (Hons) from Durham University before joining Cartmell Shepherd as a trainee in 1997, qualifying as a solicitor two years later. She became an Associate in 2005.
Stephanie is Treasurer of the Carlisle and District Law Society.
Stephanie is named in The Legal 500.
