Linsey Hayes

Linsey joined Cartmell Shepherd in July 2000.

Linsey started off with Cartmells as an office junior, progressing onto becoming a legal secretary in the property department. Her experience in that role led to her training to become a Conveyancing Executive, a role she’s successfully fulfilled for over 10 years.

As an experienced residential conveyancer Linsey has extensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and residential property matters, handling a broad range of transactions including sales and purchases of residential properties, registered and unregistered property, sales and purchases of new-builds including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, re-mortgages, transfer of property and buy to let.

Property transactions can be stressful but with Linsey’s knowledge and expertise she will oversee all of the necessary legal requirements, guiding you through the whole process to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible, provide regular updates and explaining the legal jargon in a manner you will understand.

Linsey enjoys meeting her clients face to face and believes this helps build a good relationship with, She is approachable, helpful and friendly whilst maintaining a high level of service.


Linsey is a team player and has taken part in organised fund raising events including cycling the Coast 2 Coast.

Linsey’s spare time is limited as she has young twin boys but when she gets some spare time she enjoys walking and cycling.
