Claire Davies

Claire is experienced in all aspects of employment law, including unfair and constructive dismissal claims, redundancies, TUPE, terms of employment and settlement agreements.

She has experience in acting for both employers and employees advising on contracts, settlement agreements, large-scale redundancies, misconduct and performance dismissals. She has particular expertise in providing corporate support work, advising on the employee aspects of acquisitions, disposals and company reorganisations.

About Claire

Claire qualified as a solicitor in 1985. During her career she has worked for several London firms and was a partner at Joelson Wilson & Co for many years. Claire joined Cartmells in 2009 and was a made a director in 2012.

Claire has a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Development and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and former President of the Carlisle and District Law Society.
