Cartmell Cornelius Competition

As part of the year-long celebrations of Hadrian’s Wall1900 Anniversary, we have specially commissioned Cumbrian artist Emily Bailey to create a roman puppet named Cartmell Cornelius.

We are inviting children between the ages of 4 and 11 years to use their artistic skills and draw an image of Cornelius!

Competition Prizes:

  • 1st Prize – Cartmell Cornelius himself plus a family day pass to a visitor attraction along Hadrian’s Wall.
  • 2nd Prize – Family pass to visitor attraction along Hadrian’s Wall.
  • 3rd Prize – Roman related goodies!

Cornelius will reside in our especially decorated Haltwhistle office window where you can view him and take photographs to assist with your competition entry. Alternatively you can follow his journey along Hadrian’s Wall by visiting our Facebook Business Page and see what he’s been up to!

All competition entries can be handed in personally to any of our office receptions or can they can be posted to:

Cartmell Cornelius Competition, Viaduct House, Victoria Viaduct, Carlisle, CA3 8EZ

All entries will be uploaded to our Facebook Business Page where people where people will be asked to vote!
