July 28th 2020

Team Cartmells have been busy running and walking for Dementia again this week with the miles on the clock increasing! The updates from the team are below:

Zoe Calway Director has added an impressive 25.5 miles on the clock this week bringing the total miles ran by Zoe to 81 miles so far in July.

Zoe has been to a variety of places this week and below are a few photos from her adventures, in particular Clifton Hall and Brougham Hall.

Terri Hope Marketing Director has increased her miles by 12.16 this week meaning her total is 38.72 in July so far.

Terri’s favourite walk was an early local wall from Brampton Gill to Dufton Gill and you can see a photo from Terri’s walk below.

Jane Shaw Associate Solicitor has walked another 32.56 miles this week meaning Jane has now walked the grand total of 95.95 miles already in July!

Jane’s favourite walk this week was Fleetwith Pike and below you can see a photo of the breath-taking views from this walk.

Alice Whittome Solicitor has ran another 10 miles this week bringing her total to 30 miles ran in July so far.

Alice’s favourite run this week was by the local riverside especially when the wildlife, including rabbits, came out to say hello!

Whilst the country is slowing getting back to some sort of normality it is important to remember that for those living with dementia life still remains incredibly tough for them. Those affected by dementia have been hit the hardest which is why Team Cartmells are clocking the miles each week in July to raise awareness for those who need it most.
