James is an Associate Solicitor in the Wills, Probate and Inheritance team. Working from our Penrith office, James supports clients with a range of matters including Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and estate administration.

Originally from Whitley Bay, James obtained his LLB (Hons) from the Open University in 2017 and went on to complete his LLM in Legal Practice at Northumbria University in 2018. He qualified as a solicitor at Atkinson Ritson in Carlisle, where he specialised in Private Client matters, before working for Gibson and Co in Hexham.

As a solicitor, James prides himself on his excellent people skills and his dedication to helping clients navigate challenging situations with clear guidance and understanding.

Outside of work, James enjoys going to the gym, tackling DIY projects, playing board games, and walks with his husband, Alanzon, and their labradoodle, Eddie.
